Update: 9-Aug-20

The footbridge at map white 20 "the Beach" has been made passable, though extra caution should be used.  Thank you Jim and Dave along with the gaggle of other volunteers who helped with this project.

5-Aug-20:  We hope everyone is safe and has weathered the August 4th storm well.

Please let us know if the McKaig community can help anyone that is in need.

Unfortunately, the park has suffered during this storm. 3 of the 4 bridges have sustained damage and there is much trail erosion as well.

Both bridges at the "Beach" (map white 21) are impassable and are closed. The middle bridge has been moved from it's moorings but is passable.

Please use additional caution while visiting the park.
