Full Moon Hike: Now with Two Hiking Groups!

Sunday, February 1st | 6:00 PM

We are looking forward to a spectacular Full Snow Moon hike! To better accommodate our hikers, we have added a second session to allow for different paces.

Choose Your Pace:

  • Group 1 (6:00 PM Departure): A "faster and longer" hike for those wanting to cover more ground.

  • Group 2 (6:05 PM Departure): A "slightly slower and shorter" hike for a more relaxed stroll.

Both 90-minute guided walks offer a unique opportunity to connect with nature and experience the mid-winter woods as twilight fades into moonlight. Along the way, we will discuss how our local forest animals survive and thrive during the winter months.

Important Information:

  • Registration: Pre-registration and a signed waiver are required.

  • Location: Meet at the Roberts Elementary School parking lot near the Croton Rd trailhead.

  • Cost: We request a $10 donation per adult (children 16 and under are free) to support our scout and student project fund. Payments can be made via cash or Venmo at the event.


Meet in the Roberts Elementary School parking lot by 5:50pm.
