Your Invited to Celebrate at our Annual Gala

This year we are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Upper Merion Park and Historic Foundation and McKaig Nature Education Center. The Board of Directors is pleased to invite you to attend the Annual Dinner Gala, to be held on Thursday, April 10, at the St. David’s Golf Club, 845 Radnor Road, Radnor, PA. We are very much looking forward to having you join us.

The evening will begin with a brief social time and cash bar at 6:00 PM. At 6:30, there will be a short business meeting highlighting some of our achievements over the last 50 years, discussion of future projects, and acknowledgement of some very special volunteers. 

This year we are extraordinarily honored to have State Senator Daylin Leach as our featured speaker. Senator Leach represents the 17th District which includes the McKaig Nature Education Center and Old Roberts School House. Senator Leach will be addressing a number of issues important to the community and will entertain questions from the audience following his presentation. 

Our dinner celebration is not limited to members, please encourage your friends and neighbors to attend. Senator Leach is sure to be a very interesting speaker and this gathering is quite an exceptional opportunity to speak directly with one of our elected representatives. 

As part of our 50th anniversary celebration, we will be holding a silent auction at the dinner, which will include, among other things, a weekend sailing cruise and original art by a local artist. Additionally, we will be debuting our video McKaig: A Journey Through, a 2½ year long project featuring McKaig’s beauty in all four seasons.
