Cadet Trailhead upgrade continues

On very short notice, 8 great volunteers helped out with the next phase of the Cadet Tailhead renovation. They started by paving the area with stream bank gravel (larger flat stones) then spreading about 6 tons of limestone gravel one shovel's worth at a time finishing by tamping the area solid.

And, just to show up the older volunteers, 2 of McKaig's High School interns continued with stream bank gravel trail hardening further up the Cadet trail.  Extra thanks to Liam G. from Radnor HS and Matt T. from UM.

Started with a big pile of limestone gravel

Thanks for making McKaig a more enjoyable place to visit.
