John Butler, McKaig's summer intern, see attached, has started implementing the McKaig Property Management Plan by removing the invasive Burning Bush.  He could use an hour or 2 of your help.  The removal of these plants goes more than twice as fast with 2 or more people and it is not very physical work.

Meet John on the Cadet Trail (white) between the first bridge (Boultuch Bridge, blaze white 20) and Monkey Rock (Janoski Bridge, blaze white 28) on Monday, Wednesday and Friday (June 27 - July 1) and Wednesday and Friday (July 6-8) between 8:30am and 11am.

When the area near the Cadet trail is controlled, John will move onto the Nancy Lang trail (yellow, blazes between 30-39, Fletcher Road side trail)

Also, we are planning a larger Invasive Plant Control couple of hours on Saturday, July 9 from 9am to 11:30.

Please bring gloves and eye protection and after your visit, check yourself for ticks.
